The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
