Nay, by the Moon 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning to mankind, 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 running away from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
