The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
