Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
YA SIN. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a straight path, 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
