The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
