The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
