Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 Who move straight and stop. 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 And your companion is not insane. 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 So whither do you stray? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
