Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 The worshipers of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them say: 'Peace' 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
