O Prophet! Command your wives and your daughters and the women of the Muslims to cover their faces with a part of their cloaks; this is closer to their being recognised and not being harassed; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (It is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.) 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease and those who spread rumors in al-Madinah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little. 60 Accursed wherever they are found, [being] seized and massacred completely. 61 This was the tradition of God with those who lived before. There will never be any change in the tradition of God. 62 Men ask thee of the Hour. Say: The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What can convey (the knowledge) unto thee? It may be that the Hour is nigh. 63 Allah has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 There they will live forever, and they will find therein neither friend nor helper. 65 On the Day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they shall say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way. 67 Our Lord! give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse!" 68
