We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
