And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 But As-Saihah (torment - awful cry etc.) overtook them in the early morning (of the fourth day of their promised punishment days). 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
