So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
