Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 And loose a knot from my tongue, 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 And let him share my task, 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 And much remember Thee. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 We have again bestowed Our favour upon you. 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; 43 “And speak to him courteously, that perhaps he may ponder or have some fear.” 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 Answered He: "Fear not! Verily, I shall be with you two, hearing and seeing [all]. 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 Surely it has been revealed to us that the chastisement will surely come upon him who rejects and turns back. 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 He then asked, "What do you know about the past generations?" 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 He it is Who spread the earth for you; and made in it paths for you, and sent down water from the sky, and then through it We brought forth many species of diverse plants. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
