Nay, by the Moon 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 in Gardens they will question 40 About the guilty: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
