Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
