The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
