The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
