No! By the moon 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 a warning to humans, 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 concerning the sinners, 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 running away from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
