Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
