In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
