۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
