Say your prayer when the sun declines until the darkness of night and also at dawn. Dawn is certainly witnessed (by the angels of the night and day). 78 And as for the night, keep vigil a part of it, as a work of supererogation for thee; it may be that thy Lord will raise thee up to a laudable station. 79 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, make me enter through a path that will lead to the Truth and come out of an exit that will take me to the Truth. Give me helpful authority. 80 And proclaim: "The Truth has come, and falsehood has vanished. Surely falsehood is ever bound to vanish." 81 We sent down of the Koran that which is a healing and a mercy to believers, but to the harmdoers it does not increase them, except in loss. 82 for [it often happens that] when We bestow Our blessings upon man, he turns away and arrogantly keeps aloof [from any thought of Us]; and when evil fortune touches him, he abandons all hope. 83 Say: "Everyone acts according to his own disposition: But your Lord knows best who it is that is best guided on the Way." 84
