The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
