The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21
