▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And thou art not to suppose that they who disbelieve have outstripped Me; they cannot frustrate My will. 59 Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them. Whatsoever ye spend in the way of Allah it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged. 60 ۞ And if they incline to peace, do thou incline to it; and put thy trust in God; He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 61 And if they would deceive thee, then lo! Allah is Sufficient for thee. He it is Who supporteth thee with His help and with the believers, 62 And united their hearts; had you spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allah united them; surely He is Mighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet! God is enough for thee and those of the believers who follow thee! 64
