The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
