We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
