We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
