THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
