The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
