We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night.
