Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
