The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
