The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was slain, 9 and when the scrolls of (men's) deeds shall be unfolded, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Whither then will you go? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
