Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
