Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
