Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The deniers of truth from among the People of the Book and the polytheists would not desist from disbelief until they received clear evidence -- 1 a messenger from God, reciting to them pure scriptures, 2 Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. 3 Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence. 4 And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. 5 Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings. 6 (As for) those who believe and do good, surely they are the -best of men. 7 Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!. 8
