The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
