Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A burning fire. 11
