Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
