Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious: 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
