3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
