Then is he whom We have promised a good promise which he will obtain like he for whom We provided enjoyment of worldly life [but] then he is, on the Day of Resurrection, among those presented [for punishment in Hell]? 61 On the day when He will call to them – He will therefore proclaim, “Where are those partners of Mine, whom you had assumed?” 62 Those who have become subject to punishment will say, "Lord, they seduced us." Their idols will say, "We seduced them but we renounce their worshipping us for it was not us whom they worshipped". 63 And it shall be said: Call upon your associate-gods. And they shall call upon them, and they shall not answer them, and they shall behold the torment. Would that they had received the guidance! 64 And (remember) the Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What answer gave you to the Messengers?" 65 So on that Day the tidings will be blinded* for them, therefore they will not ask one another. (* They will forget at that moment). 66 So whoever repented and accepted faith and did good deeds, so it is likely that he will be among the successful. 67 And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him. 68 Your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal and all that they reveal. 69 And He is Allah; there is no deity except Him. To Him is [due all] praise in the first [life] and the Hereafter. And His is the [final] decision, and to Him you will be returned. 70 Say: Tell me, if Allah were to make the night to continue incessantly on you till the day of resurrection, who is the god besides Allah that could bring you light? Do you not then hear? 71 Say, "Do you not think that if God were to cause the day to continue until the Day of Judgment, which Lord besides Him could bring you the night to rest. Do you not see (His signs)?" 72 Of His mercy He has appointed for you night and day, for you to repose in and seek after His bounty, that haply you will be thankful.' 73 Upon the day when He shall call. to them, and He shall say, 'Where now are My associates whom you were asserting?' 74 And We shall draw out from every nation a witness, and say, 'Produce your proof!' Then will they know that Truth is God's, and there shall go astray from them that they were forging. 75
