Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
