Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
