Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
