۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
