The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
