Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 “When we are dead and have turned to dust, will we be raised again? That return is impossible!” 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
