۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
